In this 90-minute in-person workshop, learn the foundations of growing flowers in the cool season. Leave with pro tips and a starter kit of 6 seeds you can plant in your garden right away to get a head start on your spring and summer garden.

• What hardy annuals are and when to plant them.
• Basics of starting this special set of flowers from seed, tips, tricks, and common mistakes to avoid with seed starting.
• My favorite hardy annuals and perennials to plant in the Fall in the DMV. 
• Equipment and other resources to protect your plants during the winter.
